Finn asked us to create 3no bespoke frames for some smaller artworks for his solo exhibition, 'Kinship' at Sculptures by the Lakes in June/July 2026.

We mutually agreed on using our SP8 profile which is an exclusive design owned by us. We used a Jacobean stain, finished with a Jacobean wax on top to create an aged stain look. Next stage was to use aluminium Dutch Metal leaf which we patinated to give the appearance of aged real gold leaf. The smaller ‘Sparrow’ artwork had AR70 artglass fitted with spacers behind.
