Working through Harvey & Woodd we had the absolute privilege of looking after the framing for Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) and her August exhibition (1st August to 28th August) at Harvey & Woodd’s gallery in Dundas Street, Edinburgh.

Our first job was to create bespoke tray frames to match with framing used on a previous exhibition. We had to match colour finishes to the frames using a combination of stains and waxes. The next stage was to make a series of smaller profile frames to sit behind each canvas to raise the canvas in the tray frame. We also had a run of previously exhibited artworks to remove from frames and refit new pieces. A great exhibition to work on, especially as we love Chrissie’s music as well as her art!
