OUR TEAM

  • A smiling man with a beard, bald head, and dressed in a dark shirt outdoors, with trees and hills in the background, black and white photo.

    GARY - OWNER & FRAMER

Our owner, who drives the creative side of the business. Gary has a raft of experience in choosing framing solutions for customers and, due to being our frame maker, he can help create complex frame builds to enhance your artwork.

Gary is keen to re-engage with the local artist community and create workshop events for artists who’d like to finish and assemble their own frames for exhibitions.

He enjoys his Guinness and also enjoys creating abstract artwork which has been exhibited in local galleries. Sometimes the Guinness helps his art immensely!

  • Black and white photo of a woman with short hair, wearing a striped shirt, smiling, sitting by a window with blinds and an outdoor scene in the background.

CHLOE - OWNER & ORGANISER EXTRAORDINAIRE

The true brains of the outfit! Handling the admin, consultations and generally keeping Gary in line!

Chloe has a real creative eye and will be bringing some new frame finishing ideas (learnt from her late mother, Jocasta Innes, the acclaimed Interior Designer and paint finish specialist) to add to our already extensive list of options.

Very much into her interior design and art you’ll probably find her trawling galleries at the weekend alongside Gary!

  • A black and white photo of an older man with a long beard and mustache, wearing a plaid shirt, with a serious expression.

DARRYL KNIGHT - OUR FINISHING MAESTRO

Darryl also previously worked at PictureFrames of Shaftesbury where he ran the hand-finishing department. His finishes have been favoured by many artists over the years, especially his gilding work.

Forming the framing ‘Engine Room’ of our business with Gary he is a key part of the new setup.

You will probably find Darryl beating a drum at the weekend as he is a well known face in the West Country Morris community.

  • A man with glasses and short gray hair sitting in front of jars of candies and candies containers, with an open-mouthed expression.

    TERRY GODWIN - P/T RESTORER/FINISHER

Terry runs his own framing and art restoration business but has offered his services to help us out with any restoration work and specialist finishing work as and when required.

He’s been in the framing trade for most of his life (he’s 76, so that gives an idea of the experience levels we’re talking about!)

With a love of Chelsea FC and motorsport he’s a real character and a very welcome occasional member of the team.

  • A ghost costume made from a white sheet with eye holes, accessorized with sunglasses and a black top hat.
