GARY - OWNER & FRAMER
Our co-owner, who drives the creative side of the business. Gary previously managed PictureFrames of Shaftesbury for the owners before it closed in the summer of 2025. He has years of experience in choosing framing solutions for customers and, due to being our frame maker, he can offer first hand knowledge of how to create complex frame builds that will enhance and elevate your artwork.
Gary is keen to re-engage with the local artist community and create workshop events for artists who’d like to finish and assemble their own frames for exhibitions. We held our first Artist Workshop in November 2025 which was a great success. Our next one is in September 2026.
He enjoys creating abstract artwork which has been exhibited in local galleries. Gary is also very active with the Royal British Legion being a branch officer in Shaftesbury and the Assistant Poppy Appeal Organiser for the area.

CHLOE - OWNER & ORGANISER EXTRAORDINAIRE
Our other co-owner who is the true brains of the outfit! Handling the admin, consultations, keeping Gary in line, and completing the partnership that makes this a real family owned and run business.
Chloe has a real creative eye and will be bringing some new frame finishing ideas (learnt from her late mother, Jocasta Innes, the acclaimed Interior Designer and paint finish specialist) to add to our already extensive list of options.
Very much into her interior design and art you’ll probably find her trawling galleries at the weekend alongside Gary!
-

DARRYL - OUR FINISHING MAESTRO
Darryl also previously worked at PictureFrames of Shaftesbury where he ran the hand-finishing department. His finishes have been favoured by many artists over the years, especially his gilding work.
Forming the framing ‘Engine Room’ of our business with Gary he is a key part of the new setup.
You will probably find Darryl beating a drum at the weekend as he is a well known face in the West Country Morris community.

TERRY - P/T RESTORER/FINISHER
Terry runs his own framing and art restoration business but has offered his services to help us out with any restoration work and specialist finishing work as and when required.
He’s been in the framing trade for most of his life (he’s 76, so that gives an idea of the experience levels we’re talking about!)
With a love of Chelsea FC and motorsport he’s a real character and a very welcome occasional member of the team.
